PLUTON took part in the 12th International Railway Fair TRAKO-2017 in Gdansk on September 26-29, 2017.
TRAKO-2017 is the largest in Poland and the second in Europe fair in the field of railway transport. It covers the state and development of transport systems and railway infrastructure in Poland, Europe and the world.
PLUTON presented innovative products and solutions in the field of power supply, in particular DC switchgear with intelligent control, advanced withdrawable rectifier 750 V DC, and highly reliable 12-pulse railway rectifier 3,3 kV DC.
PLUTON demonstrated new developments with application of web technologies that allow easy access to equipment from remote PCs and mobile devices (tablets, smartphones). The Fair visitors could remotely control the switchgears and rectifiers presented on the stand from iPad. For more than twenty-five years PLUTON has successfully been introducing technological innovations, offering its Customers the solutions aimed to increase the efficiency and convenience in operation and maintenance of the products.
We also presented a workstation based on integrated SCADA system. With its help everyone interested could get acquainted with the most interesting modern technologies of power system visualization and operator control, as well as exercise control of equipment in several substations in simulation mode.
The Fair visitors showed special interest to traction network monitoring and protection intelligent system SMTN-3, which represents the third generation of protection devices based on advanced technologies. SMTN-3 system provides comprehensive protection of catenary against overload and short-circuits, as well as facilitates recovery of energy system and rolling stock power supply as fast as possible.
PLUTON specialists shared their experience of implementing modern technical solutions and innovative developments in the field of automation and power supply with other participants of the Fair. They also held numerous negotiations on cooperation and the introduction of new technology with potential partners, leading representatives of transport companies and regular Customers.
