Auxiliaries cabinet (SHSN)
Auxiliaries cabinet (hereinafter SHSN) is provided for public electric transport (tram, trolleybus) traction substations auxiliary circuits power supply.
SHSN is a one-sided maintenance cabinet, providing IP 54 protection level according to IEC 529, EN 60 529 requirements.
Owing (Due) to original design and rational use of inner space, new auxiliaries cabinet replaces three cabinets SHSN-1М, SHSN-2М, SHSN-3М of previous generation, operated until now at the majority of traction substations.
SHSN controls are divided into two groups:
- 1st group — controls that are most commonly used in routine switching, located on cabinet door;
- 2nd group — controls that are less commonly used in routine switching, located inside cabinet on two rotating frames.
Relay and contactor equipment as well as protection and automatics equipment is installed on mounting panel located behind rotating frames.
Application flexibility and maintainability, high equipment installation and adjustment effectiveness, as well as high serviceability are provided owing to such design solution.
Functionally, SHSN allows connecting to three inputs:
- two from auxiliary transformers;
- one from city power input with voltage 0.4kV.
Cabinet is equipped with automatic transfer switch for the case of supply loss at some input.
Modern reliable installed into cabinets digital four-zone meters produced by well-known European manufacturers meter active power spent on substation heating.
Relay-switching equipment of world leading manufacturers such as Schneider Electric (France), ABB (Germany) etc., is used in SHSN equipment.
