Gas cutting manipulator
Gas cutting manipulator МGR-1400 electric equipment is provided for control of bulky debris and scrap machine cutting in drop-hammer workshops of metallurgical plants and Vtorchermet plants.
МGR-1400 performs the following operations:
- movement along working area;
- shifting of arm with cutter up and down for the cutter height setting;
- rotation of arm with cutter at the angle of 140° for finding point of cutting;
- movement of slide with cutter along the arm;
- rotation of the cutter at the angle of 10° from vertical position.
МGR-1400 electric equipment includes:
- drives control cabinet;
- operator’s control panel;
- electric drives (trolley movement drive, arm rotation drive, arm lift drive, cutter rotation drive, blower drive, cutter slide movement drive — regulated);
- brakes for trolley movement drive, arm rotation drive and arm lift drive;
- limit switches;
- ignition unit;
- electromagnetic valves;
- temperature control system for oxygen and cutting gas warming units. The system consists of heating elements, measurer-regulator and resistance sensor;
- climate control system in operator's room;
- auxiliary equipment.
МGR-1400 electrical equipment consists of the following functional systems:
- power circuit;
- operating control, indication and signaling system;
- climate control system;
- lighting system;
- cutting system;
- drives interlocking system.
Power part is executed as separate units, located inside the control cabinet. Power circuit provides start-up, stop, change of drive motors moving direction. The circuit also provides change of speed, operation with the set speed, change of slide moving direction, motor protection of cutter slide drive.
MGR-1400 electrical equipment can be provided for operation under severe operating conditions, in the open air, at the temperatures range from minus 40 °C up to plus 50 °C.
