Transformers cooling control cabinets SHAOT are provided for automatic and manual control of ventialtors motors, as well as electric pumps of transformers cooling systems according to IEC requirements and Customers individual requirements, including GOST 11677, NEMA requirements, as well as control cabinets with non-standard requirements regarding control algorithm, control commands and signals, signaling systems, design, arrangement and installation of various service and information technology equipment.
Control cabinets consist of standardized equipment set with control, protection and measuring components, assembled on two levels.
Level of switching devices and level of control and signaling components are separated from each other. That provides operation and maintenance safety. Control cabinets covering is a metal construction with a front door and rotating panel inside the covering.
Control cabinets can be equipped with microprocessor monitoring and control system. Microprocessor control system is a substation monitoring system at the same time. The system allows increasing lifetime of modernized transformers and significantly reducing costs for their repair due to timely detection of failures, arising while operation.
Devices for diagnostics of moisture and gas content in transformer oil, oil and windings temperature indicators, as well as integrated monitoring and control systems type Trafo Guard (oil level monitoring, windings and oil temperature, cooling system control) can be installed in the cabinets.
Both relay algorithms execution solutions, and intelligent control systems on the basis of controllers can be applied in the cabinets. Algorithms with application of electromotors rotation speed regulators, controlled from analog sources (telemetry sensors of AKM34 and AKM35 indicators) can be applied for sustainable operation of cooling systems. Soft starters can be applied in power circuits.

Service capabilities of SHAOT cabinets:
- local lighting;
- slot for connection of auxiliary equipment, connection of telephone line;
- functional check of local indicator lights;
- control of simulated climate conditions in the cabinet (temperature, humidity);
- heating turning off at door opening.
Modern equipment for transformer condition monitoring can be installed on transformer.
Transformers cooling control cabinets provide:
- individual protection of blowers and electrical pumps against short circuit currents, overloads, open-phase modes;
- automatic or manual selection of power circuits supply source;
- local alarm (signaling lamps in control cabinet) and remote alarm ("dry" contacts);
- cooling system control in automatic and manual modes;
- favorable microclimate automatic support in the cabinet;
- cooling system components state local and remote alarm;
- possibility of standby cooler functions transfer to any other cooler for regular wear;
- control of electrical pumps and blowers electric motors operation according to the set algorithm depending on transformer load, as well as oil and windings temperature;
- protection of cabinet circuits, electrical pumps and blowers electric motors against short circuit currents impact, overloads, open-phase modes upon operation from normal and standby power supply sources.
Functions of signaling and control circuits:
- individual control for each cooling device, individual control of pumps and ventilators, or control of cooling devices via analog control signals with application of frequency drives (if required). Individual control of cooling devices (without frequency drive) allows fine setting of transformer temperature conditions with electric power saving;
- control and signaling equipment is installed on the panel, that excludes accidental access to power circuits;
- comprehensive signaling system, that allows determining the condition of all cooling system components;
- comprehensive signaling system ("dry" contacts), that allows determining the condition of all cooling system components;
- possibility of signaling circuit test;
- control of heating devices via temperature regulator and hydrostat;
- no condensed water;
- heating control considering door position.
Functions of power circuits:
- control of automatic backup selection system via three-phase monitoring relay, applied for monitoring of phases, phases direction, phase and line voltage deviation;
- application of equipment with covered live parts;
- application of individual circuit breakers with fine setting, that allow fine setting of overload and open phase modes protection current.
